Directions

We assume you come from the north and drive towards Provence via the A7 and exit the motorway at Bollene. It is then 20 km to the holiday park.

Roaix is located some 125 km North of Marseille (2nd largest city in France) and 200 km South of Lyon (3rd largest city in France). Both airports do have a number of car rental companies. Avignon has a TGV station and is some 45 km from Roaix. Close to the station you wil find car rental companies.

During the months of June, July, August and September, French motorways can be very busy on weekends. Especially between Lyon and Orange, travel times can be very long. On the French website Info Travic, you can see the current situation and, when entering the date, the situation to be expected at 11am on your travel day. We recommend avoiding the motorway between 8am and 5pm, if it is marked as red on your travel day. It is wiser (if traffic jams are anticipated) to leave home not between 4 and 7am, but around 8-9am, and then arrive here around 8pm. During the trip, please let us know when you expect to arrive here.

Caution: Lyon city/tunnel has required an environmental sticker/vignette since 2024.

  • Past the peage (= toll) at the Bollene exit, come to the roundabout.
  • Drive around this ¾ of the way, towards Vaison la Romaine.
  • You will pass through the villages of Suze la Rousse – Tulette.
  • 4 km after Tulette there is a roundabout where you turn right, direction Vaison la Romaine.
  • You will drive past Buisson after which it is about 3 km to
  • turn right at the roundabout, direction Roaix.
  • After about 1 km, there is a roundabout with the supermarket, PROXI.
  • At the roundabout over 3/4, take the exit with the 30km sign, whose street is called, Allee di Ramiéro (on the left there is a grey-yellow shed).
  • The district you enter is called Quartier Les grands Pres.
  • After 100 metres there is a T-junction, turn left here.
  • After 200 metres, there is a transformer shed on the left.

For those staying in holiday homes 2 to 4:
drive another 100 metres to turn left into the driveway of the estate.

For those staying in holiday homes 1, 5 to 7:
turn left here into Impasse di Canúe, continue for 100 m, then turn right and at the white gate is No 99

For those with a GPS:
bring in Roaix, and make sure you get to the PROXI roundabout; this is the only roundabout in the village.
